TEIN Flex Z is a full-length adjustable coilover: ride height is changed by adjusting the case length, so stroke and spring preload stay the same. It is a sealed-structure twin-tube design with 16-level damping force adjustment, is compatible with TEIN EDFC controllers, and comes as a full-car kit of four dampers and four springs with vehicle-specific upper mounts on most applications.
TEIN's setting notes for this kit: The setting is mainly focused on remedying the original car's stiff ride when going over gaps at low speed. Stability and ride comfort are well balanced, with milder-than-original setting for low-speed driving on streets and with adequate suppressing feel for mid-to-high-speed driving. By adjusting damping force, wide range of ride feel can be enjoyed; from comfort to sporty.
