The Cometic 07+ VW/Audi 77mm Bore .032 inch MLX Head Gasket - C4980-032 is a precision-engineered head gasket with a 77mm bore and .032" compressed thickness.

The Cometic MLX Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket is engineered for high-performance and racing applications where OEM gaskets fall short. Featuring MLX Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) construction, this gasket uses multiple embossed steel layers for superior sealing under extreme cylinder pressures and temperatures. Precision CNC-machined to exacting tolerances, this gasket seals combustion, water jackets, and oil passages simultaneously — eliminating the need for multiple gaskets or sealing compounds.

  • Material: MLX Multi-Layer Steel (MLS)
  • Bore Size: 77mm
  • Thickness: .032" compressed
  • Part Number: C4980-032

Verified fitment: Volkswagen Jetta (2016–2019).
