Engine bay temperatures can quickly degrade battery performance and lifespan—this heat shield acts as a critical thermal barrier, deflecting radiant heat and reducing heat soak from exhaust components, turbochargers, and headers.

Antigravity Batteries’ specific 5-sided design covers much more than our competitors’ designs that only cover the sides of the battery; this makes sure to deflect as much heat intrusion as possible. Our design allows the heat shield to wrap securely around the exposed sides and cap of the battery, providing targeted protection where heat exposure is greatest, without interfering with battery fitment or service access (some modification may be required in some vehicles depending on the location and the Housing of Battery connections in modern vehicles).

The Antigravity Batteries heat shield is constructed from heat-reflective, high-temperature resistant and flame resistant materials. It’s built to withstand extreme under-hood conditions while remaining lightweight, and it’s easy to install with its sewn-on velcro closures.
