VMP Multi-Pass Heat Exchanger with 1" NPT Fittings - VMP-MP10

VMP designed an even larger and custom configurable heat exchanger for the power-user!  Our customers wanted a thicker core and bigger fittings so we listened and are now offering the VMP-MP10.  

• Double row design with 50% more capacity than VMP Triple Pass
• 3" thick header x 13" tall x 24.5" wide 
• Mounting brackets for optional dual Spal 11" fans
• 1" NPT inlet and outlets
• Option to "flip" the heat exchanger for upper grill mounting in leu of traditional lower grill mounting
• User-configurable single or dual pass design with provided ports and fittings (two NPT ports on one side and one NPT port on the other side)
• Supports over 30 GPM of intercooler system flow in single pass configuration

The "MP" in the part number designates our multi-pass design.  We developed the heat exchanger this way so the end user may configure it for their individual setup.  In some situations it is better to take multiple cooling passes through the heat exchanger, but with the latest high-flow pumps these multiple passes may become a restriction.  When all-out flow is required the HE may be run as a single pass.

The "10" in the part number stands for 1.0" inlet and outlet ports.  One side of the heat exchanger has dual 1" NPT ports, allowing you to more easily plumb the latest supercharger systems such as the VMP Odin with its two intercooler cores.  When you need to run the heat exchanger in single pass one side is plugged and the other side is used as the inlet and outlet (see diagrams in product imagery).

VMP's original triple pass heat exchanger design is a great upgrade to get additional cooling from factory systems with their small low-flowing pumps.  The new Mult-pass design is intended for those looking for the ultimate cooling solution with upgraded pumps and lines.

Fitting kits are available separately to configure this heat exchange for single pass, dual pass, 3/4" lines, and 1" lines.
