To do this they used a non-tradition (in the aftermarket) reverse rotation design. This allowed Artec NOT to have to use tight radius bends.  This is because, the standard rotation turbos put the turbine inlet flange too close to the block. Instead a reverse rotation turbo design was used, in much the same way as Mitsubishi did with the OEM equipment. This allows the turbo to be mounted low without the use of tight radius bends.  It also keep the manifold very compact.
